Recently, someone posted the below video in a facebook group I was a part of. The accompanying message was the following:
Hi. This video was made to let people know that the number of people who will be saved is very few on the last day like the days of Noah. It can be verified in Matthew24:35~39,Lk17:29 and Lk18:8. It doesn't mean that any specific church will be saved or only 30 people will be saved. But,we made this video to the facts just as she had experienced.
On to of that, the post said that a new theory (Korean) was that a solar storm will hit the earth and scorch it of its existence. They had scientific facts from NASA about the sun's strange behaviors recently. Read more here.
The thing is this. This kind of video is not new. Many people have had the privilege of visions and experiences. Many people have had insights and scientific data about what's happening in the earth and atmosphere *flashbacks to scenes from 2013* We can probably rationalize it away, but should we rationalize it ALL away?
How reliable are they? They may quote a lot of Scriptures but are they biblical? How should we take or perceive such information? What are they trying to say? What should be our reaction and response? What is God trying to say?
There will be nay Sayers and 'end is nigh' prophets. December this year is a highly publicized date that the world is supposedly coming to an end. Throughout history there have been many doomsday proponents. But in all things, I think we need to always compare with the Bible teaching on it. No man is to know the day, ony the Father knows. Our role is to live and die for Him. I wouldn't be so concerned about all this people and recent end time prophecies... Just like for Him and one day, we will all surely die...but can we say we lived well and for the Glory of God?
I would agree that more important than trying to find out when the return of Jesus would be, would be living every day we had conscious of His imminent return..
Salvation not only from the flames of hell, but salvation to learn to live by the grace of God, that enables us to live lives that are set apart, and that grace of God culminates in the fulfillment of His return.. And when He comes, I suppose we wanna be found prepared and ready for Him..
It is amazing how God reveals heaven to children. The video clip detailing Sa-rang's description about heaven is not the only one that I know of. There are many others as well. From all that people have said about heaven, it could be the affirmation that after all, heaven is no fictional place and if people can speak boldly about heaven then it time for us to wake up and take note about it. Heaven lies not in men's imagination and it cannot be made up from men's imagination. Many things can be said about heaven but until we get there we can never know what heaven is like. When viewing video clips like this we need to be open-minded that is not to rebuke such people as having a foul imagination but allow them to express that which God has shown to them. At the same time on our part,we are to live like we are dying, in view of the reality of heaven, meaning that we live each day in obedience to Him so that when the time comes or if we are to met with an unexpected death, we are ready to meet our Creator in heaven. For information about heaven, it is contained in the Bible. Nobody can tell for sure what heaven is like, though until now heaven is pictured as a place of beauty and bliss but what we do know is that there is a heaven. The question is are we travelling along the narrow road that leads to life?
i like your view that these kinda 'revelation' would tell common wisdom that there must be a heaven and a hell. the accumulated visions but different unrelated people.
however, some may also say that these visions could also be affected by what they've been told. and it is but a dream instead.
this video did not say any date or any time limit. simply that it is coming very soon. wish is probably truer now than ever before.
